Gay Men: If your boyfriend cheated would you care?

Hey everyone , it's been a while but I was watching the View today and this topic really was interesting to me. Joy ( the lady with the red hair) well of course she has her own late night show , and she stated that she recently had a man on her show that is openly gay and he writes a column. She said that he feels that cheating in a gay relationship wouldn't have the same weight as if someone cheated in a straight relationship. Now I really can't speak on gay women because i'm not sure how u ladies handle your business. But as far as men, i'm sorry cheating I feel has the same weight whether straight or gay it always has. For that man to say , "oh well if he's gay and he cheats , we don't end the relationship" WHY THE HELL WON'T WE? LOLL I mean let's be serious what in the world would I keep this dude around for if all he wanted to do is cheat that's just crazy. I think his comment just added more feul to the stereotype that gay men just sleep around and that we don't commit. It's just clubs and sex , and that's not the case at all. Many gay men would love to be in a committed relationship and have that special type of love that they have been looking for and that's ok. But I do agree that "honesty is the best policy" , and it always has been. I would much rather a dude have the balls to say to me " look i'm just looking for sex " a few years back in my college days cool , I was still figuring myself out then, but this point in my life NOOO!!! because i'm happy where I am right now and I"m more mature and don't just need someone for a body. It's all about choices and what you prefer honestly but i'm sorry cheating has the same punch either gay or straight.
